JazzaJ / Rabasta(CH) / Bolcsó-Rubik Duo

As one of the last sessions of our winter-spring season, we bring the Swiss Rabasta to Lumen. The hip-hop instrumental quartet plays a repertoire of fragmented compositions in an interpretation developed by them together. While the musical aesthetics of hip-hop culture is a starting point and color spot in their music, the lack of vocals and the search for an unstable but drifting rhythm puts Rabasta at a certain distance from rap. Added to this is improvisation, which takes their sound to an even less defined area.

Before all of this, air, strings and circuits vibrate in great agreement or in a tense atmosphere, two composers whose cooperation and friendship can be measured in decades, but we have not heard them in a duo for approx. never!
